These Tour de France/Triathlon style bikes come up every so often. They ALL have high end (EXPENSIVE) specialty parts and components, and are sought after no matter their age. Rare to find one at a garage sale for $50 though, but you will find them.

I dated a gal in the late 80’s who LOVED COACH Bags. By the 2000’s, they sold out to a designer and became mass produced, and cheaply made. These old leather bags from the pre-sellout days are VERY sought after for their HIGH quality. Those days are FOE SURE, the days gone by.
